My 2 week Detox

Hello there and happy Wednesday xxx

This week I decided I needed a Detox! I had been indulging for a few weeks and my gym membership has ended....  So i need it!!! Also Im moving to Australia in less than 6 weeks and I need to work on my bikini bod!

So heres some pics of what I had been eating this week (the detox started yesterday, as I was out celebrating Corks massive win Sunday night). Iv been making some nice juices and yummy meals. I usually would have a piece of meat with my lunch or dinner, be it chicken or turkey or ham. But during these 2 weeks i am trying to go slightly vegan. (Without going OOT, cause I do love a burger every now and then.)

This was a really tasty meal. So quick and easy to do I followed no recipe!just some noodles, pesto, courgettes,cucumber,asparagus,broccoli,spinach,tomatoes,onion&garlic. Steamed the veg, then added the a hot pan of tomatoes onion and garlic simmering im coconut oil. Pour the pesto over cooked noodles and there you have it a healthy but extremely scrumtious  vegan meal! X

Doing some tummy exercises everyday can only lead to a tighter stomach. #justdoit

I stole this from Instagram. Instagram is the best place for motivation for a good body!! This is what im working towards at the mo.... I cant do 50 squats in one go, but im doing 25 twice a day. Hope it still counts... Ekkkk #needabooty

Since my gym membership is up, iv started to jog.... And I cant really jog that far.. Or fast... I feel I look funny, like a sweaty old woman  when I run. Ah... But it has to be done. At the moment all Im able to run is 10 mins straight. I like to take a break and walk for 5 mins and run again for another 10. Im pretty sure ill get quicker and faster!! We will see.....

I am also trying to do a bit of toning at home when I remember... We have some weights and an ab king pro machine.

So iv set up my own workout routine to follow and pinned it where ill see it everyday. Yesterday and today iv done x25 squats x25 sit ups x25 side crunches and x25 push ups - and ill do this twice in the day. Before breakfast and before bed or after my walk or run (hope I can keep this up)!....

It feels good to be healthy.. Sleeping better and having more energy.. Even tho I still want to to eat a big chocolate maltester cake.. Mmmm...

To be honest, for me its impossible to be totally clean eating. Like I have been snacking on some ridiculously tastey crackers with some butter...  And ill have a weeee bit of chocolate if its going... Its just soo hard to say no sometimes... And lifes to short right..?

All in moderation. My motto right now is 80%\20%.. 80 good, and 20 what you want.... Without going over the top and eating all the cake....... Just a bit ;-)

Todays juice (mid morning snack):
Handful of berries
Squeezed orange
Chia seeds
Coconut water

It was yummy!!!!

  1. Hey Katie, never in a million years would I have even considered making/drinking a green smoothie juice! Its just not in my nature!! However, as we both know my poor skin has seen better days #stress #hormones so I decided to give the green juice above a shot and I can honestly say it was so nice :) had about 4/5 over the last few days (one a day) and my skin has defo cleared in comparison to what it was the last week r two. Beauty sleep is a thing- our skin regenerates as we sleep. 8.Never apply body products to the face 9.Always wear SPF no matter what the weather. 10. Clean makeup brushes every few days and change pillow cases regularly.
