Bondi Sands (The Aussie Tan)

June 12, 2015

Light- Medium, Mousse.

No streakyness, no bad smells & easy application!

I don't usually buy self tans, if I wanted a nice tan I would always get a spray tan. Iv my own machine at home and I swear by Crazy Angel tan. Over here in Oz, I got a organic spray tan every so often at work. I just love how a spray tan looks, so I just didnt bother wearing any other tans. But, Iv been travelling the last few weeks and I decided to try a fake tan to top up my glow every now and then!

I bought Bondi Sands Tan about 3 weeks ago and I really like it. I wanted the medium-Dark mousse but, they only had the light one so I said Id give it a go. The light-medium one is darker than I thought it would be. All I needed was one layer for a natural tan, and If I wanted it a bit darker Id apply a second layer.

Iv been applying it every 4-5 days over the past 3 weeks and iv had no uneven areas and I think it looks pretty good!

Top tip for applying Fake Tan at home: Always do a good exfoliation in the shower before you apply tan. This will prepare your skin for the tan and make sure it goes on even. When I put on my tan I try and do it before bed so it can build up over night. And always use a mitt to apply it on to skin, and shake the bottle before use. (Wear dark clothes to bed so you dont ruin the sheets!)

To keep tan lasting longer: Apply moisturiser everyday and night to skin to keep hydrated. This will prevent the tan from shedding off and looking patchy.

If your out and about in the sun, and sunbathing, always put a sun protection factor on as fake tan does not contain a spf. Your skin can still burn underneath the tan.

I got mine in Priceline, its in most chemists in Australia. A few stocklists have it in ireland but have a look on their website for anymore information

Iv used St Tropez & St Moriz Tan in the past but, for me this one tops them!

Happy Tanning!
