Beauty on a Budget November

''Where's all your money?''... ''It's on my face''

Hey there… Happy Sunday!
Here are my favourite beauty bargains for this month.

  1. Cocoa Brown Tan- This tan is unreal. I love how easy it goes onto the skin, and it doesn’t streak or smell. The colour develops right away so there is no need to leave it dry etc. Its so handy and quick to use and I love the colour. Ill do about 2 applications on my body with a glove, and 1 on my face with a cotton round, then I’m nice and bronzed.  I’m almost out of it now and I cant get it here in Holland, so iv asked my mum ever so kindly to post a few bottles over to me to keep me going for the next few months.

Penneys 7.99 (Also available in some chemists and online)

  1. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue- Iv been wearing this tinted moisturiser most days since I got it back in September, it has fab coverage for just been a tinted moisturiser. I got the colour ginger, which is a little warmer than my skin tone, so even when I have fake tan on my face it blends in perfect. Its got spf30 in it aswel as hydrating gel ingredients. Really good for the skin and a little bit goes a long way. Big thumbs up!
Bare minerals 29.00

3.Catrice Eye liner- Cheap and cheerful eyeliner. Does the same job as any expensive one.
 Penneys 1.99 (Most Chemists)

4.Argan Oil Hair Mask- I am a big fan of hair masks, ill do one x1 week for sure. I picked up a few different ones in penneys the other day and they are really good. They have nourishing and protecting ingredients and they are only like 2/3 so your not really breaking the bank. I have another hair mask I got from a salon shop which was like triple the price of these ones and to be honest there isn’t a huge difference. My hair was left so silky shiny and soft after using both. Really important to use masks on your hair if you colour it a lot, or use heat on it.

Penneys 2.00

5.Neostrata AHA Lotion- Save the best until last… oh this cream is mighty. Iv sent my friends and mum off to get it for themselves. I am raving about this brand. And I also saw on Marissa Carters snap chat that she’s a big fan too(Maker & Founder of Cocoa Brown tan)
So  what is it? this is an exfoliating product. Its got 15% alpha hydroxy acid in it, which is an active ingredient and sheds the top of the skin. its only suitable for people who have used active ingredients like aha’s before and not for sensitive or broken skin. It basicly resurfaces the skin, so its amazing for dry skin, sun damage, breakouts, pimples and bumps under the skin and ageing skin. It works overtime so you won’t see a big change after 1 use, but after 2 weeks by god you will! Now this is a strong, active product so you must build your skins tolerance up with it,

I started using it every second night for the first week then every night after that and my skin has improved so much on my cheeks. Which were really dry and had pimple like bumps under the skin. I also use it on the backs of my arms for keratosis pilaris read here. It’s also great for ingrown hairs. It is an Investment product for sure!!
I Love it!! I bought mine in September and I still have loads left. A little bit goes a long way…

Minihanes Chemist, across from the GPO Cork 30.00 (Also in other chemists and online)

Well there are my November Beauty Bargain Bits! I am also loving the mindful colouring books. They are so therapeutic. I bought this in Easons in Cork!
