My Morning Skincare Routine

then you have to do something you've never done’’


Getting into a good skincare routine will be the best thing you do for your skin, and your 50 or 60 lovely self will thank you in the future.

Here is my morning Skincare routine, it’s nice and quick ;-)

  1. Ill cleanse my face in the shower using my clarisonic with either my cleanser, or scrub (I only use a scrub x2-3 week)

2. The days of toning stripping the skin are well gone, now there all about infusing more hydration into the skin, and making your moisturiser work better. So if you have a dry/dehydrated skin type look for a hydrating toner to add to your routine.


 3. Once I’m out of the shower and my skins dry, Ill apply a serum. I’m using a stem cell serum at the moment and im using it also as my eye cream because I’m out of one at the mo L Please take note Santa ;-)
4. Ill then use my moisturiser that has spf30.
 5. If I’m working or heading out ill then prime my skin and apply my tinted moisturiser, Iv been using bare minerals products for the past 2 months and I love them the coverage of the tinted moisturiser is fab.


And there you have it, an easy peasy morning routine! A lot of clients when they first come to me for a facial say they don’t use a cleanser in the mornings, they just use a moisturiser. This is such a common mistake!! You've been sleeping for 6-8 hours your skin needs to be cleaned from all the bed bugs and what not laying about in the air and building up on your skin. We can’t see these bacteria’s build up on our skin, but things do like to cling on to it. So a quick wash in the mornings will benefit your skin, and also it will help with how your further products- serum and moisturiser work into the skin. If the skin isn't clean, products can’t work their best.



 A bonus of doing your skincare routine twice a day whether you’re using your finger tips or facial sonic brush- you stimulate the muscles in your face, increasing blood flow, keeping a youthful and plump complexion.
