Get you're skin to GLOW (Without wearing make-up)

March 20, 2016

I'm all for glowing radiant skin, especially without make-up. It's the hardest thing to achieve except for those who have the lucky skin genes. There are lots of make-up tips and tricks along with endless types highlighters out there to achieve flawless, glowing looking skin which is all fab and I love to do this aswel. But, in my opinion there is no better feeling than looking after your skin from the inside out and using good skincare products and not depending on make-up all the time

Get the Glow:

Before I get into my tips for skincare products I'm just going to mention (I'll try not to ramble) some  VERY important things to keep in mind when wanting to get healthy radiant glowing skin.

everything we put into our bodies shows on the outside.Whether we like it or not. This is my struggle. I CAN'T stop eating chocolate, and sweet things- sugar is our skins enemy and breaks down collagen in our skin which ages our skin faster and can cause tiny little bumps under the skin.

Our skin repairs itself as we sleep, so the more hours of sleep we get the better. Its called beauty sleep for a reason....

Increasing oxygen and blood flow all around the body, and in the skin- helping remove toxins.Helping skin to be bright and fresh.

If you haven't found your skincare girl yet -go find her, She is out there! Investing in facials from time to time and using good products on your skin will really show. Plus, they are so relaxing. Especially if you work alot, always busy or too busy to look after your skin. If you need some recommendations on where to go just ask me.

We all know we need to drink more water... keeping a bottle (or bucket!)with you all day and keep refilling. Will help flush out all the bad stuff in our body, and skin will benefit hugely from this. BRIGHTER YOUNGER looking skin. (even if your young- you can look older than what you are.... due to toxin build up in the body...)

Dont touch your face, dont pick your spots (it will make the spot 100 times worse and slower to heal), and clean your makeup brushes x1 week or more if you can. Switch pillow cases as often as possible (atleast x1 week, and silk pillow cases are the best for the skin- no sleep lines in the morning).

The sun (when its around) is the number 1 ager to the skin. Free radicals (toxins in the air) attack our skin everyday, From the moment we step outside our skin is being attacked (unless you have SPF on) Sun protection acts as a barrier and allows NOTHING into our skin so our skins
DNA is'nt broken down or damaged. When it is broken down and damaged, we see fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots(brown spots) red bumps, and many other changes to the skin can occur.

8.SKIN SUPPS (Optional)
Not everyone likes the ideas of taking supplements but they are a great way to boost the skin.Read my post about the ones I'm taking at the moment here.

with active ingredients such as GLYCOLIC,LACTIC,SALYCILIC ACID
Leave on skin 2-3 mins and rinse off.
Use x1 week, This doesnt have to be your daily cleanser as these are quite active ingredients.

Massage into the skin and leave on for 5 mins. Then rinse off.
Use x1-2 week (especially before an event or party etc)

x1-2 week
Leave on for 15-20 mins or SLEEP IN IT for an extra glow (I sleep in these masks atleatst x1-2 a week!)

Absorbs all excess oil- great for breakouts.
Use x1-2 week for 10-15 mins.

Use under your moisturiser EVERYDAY & NIGHT for extra hydration and for a lovely G L O W.

6.Gradual Tanner (Optional)
I only use this every now and then for an extra glow, and when I wear it I wont bother at all with make-up as I already have a colour.

If you take some of these tips into consideration and leave your skin breathe every now and then- you will be on track for getting healthy glowing looking skin.
